X-Ray

The decision to take x-rays on a patient is a clinical call by your Chiropractor. The decision is a combination of complaint, history, and examination findings. Your doctor may decide to take x-rays prior to initiating treatment, defer x-rays to observe a patient’s response to treatment, or decide that x-rays are not clinically required, at least at that time.

Chiropractors take x-rays on patients for a variety of reasons, including:

  • Fracture

  • Pathology

  • Degeneration

  • Biomechanics

  • Vehicle Accidents
